Collectif 8 mars
Le Collectif 8 mars brings together several union and feminist organizations, the APTS, the CSD, the CSN, the CSQ, the FAE, the FDO, the FFQ, the FIQ, the FTQ, the SFPQ and the SPGQ, together every year to mark International Women’s Day.
For a second year in a row, the Collectif 8 mars has trusted Molotov to mobilize and promote International Women’s Day in 2021. The team, made up only of women, designed all the components of the Collectif ‘s annual campaign: slogan, visual identity, illustrations and other visual materials.
In an extraordinary collaboration with the members of the Collectif, Molotov came up with a strong slogan and designed vibrant visuals that bring to life the demands of the feminist movement without undermining the struggle.
The goals were to create a visual identity for the campaign and promotional tools, including tens of thousands of posters, stickers and pins featuring the theme, Listen to Women.
Based on the theme developed for the Collectif 8 mars, the Intersyndicale des femmes, a partner organization, entrusted the production of a promotional video to our team. The animated video, designed and produced entirely by women, reminds us of the inequalities that continue to disadvantage women, who have lived most of the heavy consequences of the pandemic. Molotov has designed a simple, colorful and up-to-date animation giving space to the valuable message.
